 Vice President/Founder

Anthony Huang (he/him) is a student in San Jose, CA. He enjoys dance, musical theater, filmmaking, and hopes to be a part of the entertainment industry in the future. His involvement with scouting in the past 10 years has allowed him to develop a strong love and bond for the outdoors. Anthony recently pledged to eat 1 vegetarian meal a day through a Buddhist compassion relief foundation called Tzu Chi. However, he started to understand the real impacts of abstaining from meat and is now transitioning into a vegetarian. He hopes to use his skills to further educate and bring awareness to the community about environmental issues.

Arianna Huang
(she/her)

Co-President/Founder

Arianna Huang (she/her) is a student in San Jose, CA who loves to vibe to music with her friends and go on morning runs.  She hopes to use her interests to further develop TBE. Being the one person in the house who is constantly turning off lights, walking everywhere she can, and recycling/reusing whenever possible, Arianna recognizes how important it is to save our planet while we still have the ability to. Arianna is frustrated by the copious amount of individuals, namely young people, who do not see the consequences derived from their actions. For this reason, she is excited to use TBE as a platform to speak up about these issues.

The Biophilia Effect (TBE) an organization, started by a group of high schoolers based in San Jose, CA, aims to raise more environmental awareness amongst young people.

Join us in our mission to learn about how we can make our Earth a better place!
