My name is Asha Kannan, and I’m a junior at Gunn High School in Palo Alto, California. I joined the TBE Writing Team to help spread awareness on environmental issues in my community. During this pandemic, California has been exposed to so many different types of environmental problems, such as wildfires and the effects of climate change. Through writing, I want to inform others of the actions they can take to reduce these problems. In my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming, listening to music, and watching movies with my family and friends.

Hi guys! My name is Katie and I'm currently a sophomore attending Milpitas High School. I'm beyond grateful to be given this opportunity to be the secretary of this organization. I believe that we will come together to make this world a better place. I love spreading awareness of what is going on in the environment. Issues in the environment aren't something to take lightly. I've recently started looking and researching the issues going on and different ways to help and take action. With TBE, I believe that we will spread more awareness of what is going on in the environment, and bring as many people together to create a change.
